The Matinee Performance was a special series of shows especially designed for the
younger magic lover, starring clowns, ventriloquists and of course magicians! Balloon modeller Uncle Ted gave the children unique
presents to take home from inflatable animals to swords. The shows had a high turn out each day, and with everyone leaving
with a big grin on their face, the shows were deemed a success!
The event was even covered in Norwich's local news publication - the Evening News - where a page spread was devoted to the shows.
The Evening Performance was the centre piece of this year's shows, with a host of internationally
acclaimed magicians providing top quality entertainment. Crowds flocked to see magic from entertainers such as Geraldini,
Danny Lee, Ted Lumby and Dezaar, not to mention close-up performers Saxon and Davé. Classic effects such as the linking rings
and the levitation mingled with dangerous stunts such as swallowing razor blades, making for a varied and jaw dropping show.
A raffle held on the Friday night helped raise money for "Operation Santa Clause", a charity
set-up by local radio station Broadland 102 to help disadvantaged children at Christmas time.
